A still small and immature Canary Date
Palm (Phoenix canariensis) underplanted with Helleborus corsicus.
To the left is a clump of Phyllostachys nigra, the Black Bamboo,
and in the background, in the adjoining garden, the impressive trunks of
Trachycarpus fortunei and Cupressus macrocarpa can be
seen.
