I have always found camellias to be quite
accommodating, robust plants. However, they can be all too easily over-watered
and overfed. That simply kills them. Here is a Camellia x williamsii
'Debbie' growing in neutral, dryish soil in full sun; this cultivar has
a flowering period of a few months often starting in late December. I find
that the value of camellias lies in the appeal of both flowers and foliage. © Maciej Pomian-Srzednicki, 2008 29/09/2008 Telephone 01803 201813 |
