I no longer even pretend to remember any
of the various Lampranthus species, varieties and forms. They are
all first-class dry-soil plants which give a feeling of Mediterranean warmth
to a sunny garden. They all require well-drained soil and are prone to rot
during wet winters. Always keep spares in a pot over the winter.
