This association of Bergenia,
Hosta and New Guinea Impatiens marks the north end of
the 'rainforest'. A few Impatiens dotted here and there mark my
only incursion into horticultural 'bedding'. Although I generally concentrate
on herbaceous perennials I also dislike being dogmatic and so there will
be the odd bedding plant, the odd biennial and even a triennial (Echium
pininana).
